In the thermogram shown below, the healthy breast tissue is compared with abnormalities seen in acute sinusitis.


Red and orange areas indicate higher temperatures caused by sinusitis inflammation.

The green and blue areas indicate colder tissues indicating absence of inflammation or other pathology.
